Job Purpose: To optimize, automate, and improve the performance and implementation of the production environment, and release processes. 

 Main Responsibilities: 

• Promoting DevOps culture and GitOps mindset. 

• Create processes and systems to ensure on-time delivery. 

• Owner of CI-CD process. 

• Owner of the release process. 

Attributes: 

• Extensive hands-on experience in working with Kubernetes in a multi-cluster production environment, with knowledge in Kubernetes Day-2 tools (Helm, Kustomize). 

• Linux! Have extended knowledge of the Linux operating system with an understanding of Linux’s internals. 

• Expertise in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems. 

• Proven production experience with Cl/CD pipelines (Github action, FIuxCD). 

• Expert knowledge in troubleshooting enterprise database systems, and relational databases in production (PostgreSQL preferred). 

• laC is a must (Ansible, TerraForm). 

• Must be proficient in at least one scripting language. 

• Experience in managing distributed services/microservices platforms (Istio) 

• Experience with observability, monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana), logging (ELK stack), tracing (Jaeger). 

• A clear understanding of different types of storage systems, and their respective trade-offs. 

• Experience with installing, configuring, and managing VMware vSphere solutions. 

Qualifications: 

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position. 

• Basic knowledge of Islamic Banking principle is a plus.
